Bipartisan support for Kagan

Going into next week's confirmation hearings for Elena Kagan, nominated by President Obama for Supreme Court, Kagan has landed support from past Solicitors General (her current post in the Obama Administration). Solicitors General from the Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, and Bush II administrations all signed a letter endorsing her nomination for the Court.

And, SCOTUSBlog reports, all of Kagan's fellow clerks from the 1987 Supreme Court (where she clerked for Justice Thurgood Marshall), have similiarly endorsed her.  That includes clerks from all members of the Court of that time, conservative, moderate, and liberal.

More evidence to suggest that Kagan's nomination will sail through.
