New poll finds Americans want stronger economy

A new Bloomberg News poll released Wednesday finds more Americans are becoming frustrated with President Barack Obama’s handling of the economy.

Thirty percent of Americans said they will vote for President Obama for re-election. Thirty-six percent of Americans said they definitely won’t vote for the president.

Americans say unemployment and jobs are the most important issue facing the country right now. About 51 percent of Americans are cautious because nothing seems to be happening; while 25 percent said they are fearful things are getting worse.

When asked what they worry most about in the 2012 election, Americans said they are concerned about the Republicans gaining control of both houses of Congress and the presidency implementing their proposed cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and other domestic programs.

How do you feel things are standing in the country?
