IAFF online

Many IAFF affiliates effectively use community outreach campaigns to foster relationships with city leaders, local businesses, the media, civic groups and the public - and the IAFF encourages more affiliates to use these kinds of programs to improve their public image and influence how they are perceived by decision makers and the public.

To assist you in these efforts, the IAFF will be providing more ideas and materials to use to promote public safety in your communities - starting with the Fourth of July.

The IAFF has prepared a sample press release and infographic to send to the media and citizens about fireworks safety during the July 4 holiday and remind people about the value of your service and get recognition that can help generate support later when you really need it.

Spread your safety message by sending the press release (and infographic) to the media as soon as possible. Then, be sure to contact reporters to let them know you are available for interviews.

The release and graphic can also be used for posts on Facebook, Twitter and other social media.

An interesting discussion is definitely worth comment. I do believe that you need to write more on this issue, it might not be a taboo matter but generally people don't discuss these subjects. To the next! Kind regards!!
